I was so disgusted by her and Oprah’s gutless questions that I wrote a letter to Oprah, describing in detail my dissapointment in her. I’ve seen her do tough interviews, pick people apart and ask the “real” questions. Somehow the interview with Palin was different. She tiptoed around the issues that had very obviously been pre-approved for discussion.
Watching Palin talk is painful to me. I think she’s had a lot of coaching on what she could say, or rather should say. And in between her scripted B.S. her actual opinions spill out. She contradicts herself repeatedly throughout the interview with Oprah. On the topic of her daughter’s child and the “boy father” she quickly blurted out that he was just a porn star looking for attention and he never visits her grandchild. Yet five minutes later she’s inviting him to Thanksgiving dinner.
Obviously there are much much more important issues than this concerning Palin’s “whishy-washy” public speaking. This is a small example of her obvious ignorance and inexperience.
I completely agree that she sounds like a whiny child blaming everyone around her for all her issues….the problem is most people can’t see through it! It truly frightens me that she still has supporters.
